About the Video Series

A series of six videos featuring a leadership team in action are a key feature of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support for Young Children. These videos illustrate some of the important steps staff might engage in to move their program into a multi-tiered system of support framework.

Video 1: Watch how various staff members of an early childhood program come together Consensus Building to consider MTSS and, with a principal’s leadership, achieve consensus to move (7 minutes, 32 seconds) their program into an MTSS framework.

Video 2: Implementation Observe how the team members use Implementation Science to guide them as they plan to move their program into an MTSS framework (7 minutes, 43 seconds).

Video 3: Learn how the team members study program-level data to examine how well the Problem Solving Process: program is meeting the needs of all children and what they can do to enhance the School/Program Level quality of their curriculum and instruction, ensuring young children achieve (11 minutes, 29 seconds) essential outcomes.

Video 4: Discover how team members discuss and use class-level data to evaluate areas of Problem Solving Process: strengths and needs in instructional areas and provide strategic instruction to those Classroom Level students needing additional support beyond the core curriculum (13 minutes, 6 seconds).

Video 5: Learn how team members use data-based decision making to examine how to Problem Solving Process: better support instruction for a child who is showing signs of learning difficulties, Individual Child Level and how they use data to evaluate how well the more intensified instruction (11 minutes, 48 seconds) works over time.
