# BEFORE the Visit

✓ Prepare with the parent by scheduling a pre‐visit tech check and discussing (or showing!) what to expect.
✓ Prepare yourself (but put your bubbles away).
✓ Plan for what to do/see during the visit…then go with the flow.

# DURING the Visit

✓ Check‐in first.
✓ Use your voice to join in (rather than your body).
✓ Keep your focus on the **parent who facilitates** learning for the child.

# DURING the Visit

✓ Observe by using the “show **me**” prompt & asking the** parent to take *you* along.
✓ Be descriptive and specific in your guidance and feedback.
✓ Breath and stay calm through the tech hiccups.
✓ Be flexible.
