1. **Orientation tasks**: Naming current place, date, and year.
2. **Following commands**: Tests attention, verbal memory, and listening comprehension.
3. **Word fluency**: Assesses executive skills for word search and memory.
4. **What goes together**: Tests semantic/conceptual knowledge, vocabulary, and verbal expression.
5. **Digit span**: Sequence recall of numbers to test auditory attention and immediate memory.
6. **Naming**: Uses drawings to test word retrieval and spoken language output.
7. **Story retelling—immediate**: Comprehension and recall of a narrative.
8. **Yes/no/maybe**: Measures language comprehension with complex syntax.
9. **Picture recall and signature**: Delayed retrospective memory test.
10. **Story retelling—delayed**: Measures recall of earlier narrative.
